IF YOU ARE IN SPAIN
If you need to obtain a NIE and are in Spain, give us your details and we’ll schedule an appointment at a police station closest to your residence, or wherever you specify.
Once you have your Spanish NIE, tell us your number, and our agents will register you with the Taxpayer Registry (Hacienda). This step is essential for purchasing any property before a notary. In Spain, to purchase any property, you must not only obtain a NIE, but also register with the Hacienda.
IF YOU ARE NOT IN SPAIN
If you need to obtain a NIE and are not in Spain, you can issue us a power of attorney at the Spanish consulate or embassy in your country to apply for your NIE at the police station. In this case, we will provide you with a DNI (National Identity Document) so the notary can issue the powers of attorney. Make sure the consulate or embassy properly stamps the copy of your ID card or passport, otherwise, the power of attorney will be useless.
You send us the power of attorney, and we will personally go to the police station to request your NIE on your behalf. Once you have obtained it, our agents will register you in the Taxpayer Registry (Inland Revenue).

Tip: Don’t go to a notary in your country to complete the process. It’s always better and faster to go to a consulate or embassy.
Why? Because when you go to a notary in your country, the document prepared by the notary must be translated by a certified translator, and then that document must be apostilled by your country’s Ministry of the Interior.
It’s a long and costly process for you.
